We offer a curated selection of eyeglass frames, frames compatible with prescription lenses, sunglasses, accessories, and travel cases designed for style, comfort, and everyday use.

Your use of this website constitutes your acceptance of these Terms in full. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the website after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a purchase on this website. By placing an order, you represent that all information you provide is truthful, current, and complete.

Part II — Products, Lenses, and Sizing

4. Important Distinction: Frames vs. Prescription Lenses

Many products on our website are sold as frames only and are clearly labeled as such in the product description. Unless specifically stated otherwise:

  • Standard frames ship with demo lenses or no lenses. Prescription lenses are sold separately and must be fitted by a qualified eye-care professional.
  • Sunglasses ship with tinted lenses that include UV400 protection and anti-reflective coating. These are not prescription lenses.

We strongly recommend that you consult with your eye-care provider before ordering prescription lenses to ensure compatibility with your selected frames.

5. Frame Materials

Our frames are crafted from the following materials:

  • Acetate — a durable plastic derived from cellulose, comfortable for extended wear, offering rich color depth and a lightweight feel
  • Stainless steel — a corrosion-resistant metal providing strength, flexibility, and a sleek aesthetic
  • Mixed metal and acetate — combinations that pair metal temples or bridges with acetate front frames for a balanced look

6. Sizing

Frames are available in the following widths:

  • Narrow — designed for smaller face shapes and narrower cheek-to-cheek measurements
  • Average — the standard fit for most adult face shapes
  • Wide — designed for larger face shapes and wider cheek-to-cheek measurements

We recommend measuring an existing pair of glasses that fits well and comparing the lens width to our sizing categories. If you are unsure which size is right for you, our customer service team can assist.

7. Pricing and Availability

  • All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD).
  • We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice.
  • If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund, or to contact you with the correct price before processing.
  • Products are subject to availability. We may discontinue or modify any item without notice.

Part III — Orders, Payment, and Modifications

8. Placing an Order

An order is placed when you complete the checkout process and receive an automated order-confirmation email. This email confirms receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance of the contract. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion.

9. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

All transactions are encrypted via SSL and processed by PCI-DSS-compliant gateways. Your credit card statement will show a charge under "Buena Vision Optometry."

10. Modifications and Cancellations

11. Order Cancellation by Buena Vision Optometry

We reserve the right to cancel orders under the following circumstances:

  • Payment authorization fails or cannot be verified
  • Billing or shipping information appears invalid or fraudulent
  • The item is out of stock or has been discontinued
  • A pricing error was published on the product page
  • The order pattern suggests potential fraud

If we cancel your order after payment has been processed, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Part IV — Shipping and Delivery

12. Shipping Coverage

We offer free standard shipping on all orders within the contiguous (lower 48) United States. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or international destinations.

13. Processing and Delivery Timeframes

  • Order processing: 1–3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays).
  • Estimated delivery: 4–7 business days after shipment.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to weather, peak seasons, or carrier delays.

14. Packaging

Every item is carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit:

  • Frames are placed in hard cases or soft pouches and secured with protective wrapping to prevent scratching.
  • Sunglasses are shipped with UV-protective cases or padded pouches.
  • Accessories (eyewear chains, clip-ons) are packaged in individual protective wrapping.
  • Travel cases are shipped in padded mailers to prevent denting.

Part V — Returns and Refunds

15. Return Eligibility

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. Items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging with all tags, cases, and accessories included.

Return Shipping Return shipping is provided free of charge. Upon authorization of your return request, a prepaid return shipping label will be issued to you at no cost. You are not responsible for any return shipping fees

16. Items That Cannot Be Returned

17. Exchanges

We offer free size exchanges within 30 days of delivery. If your frame (Narrow, Average, or Wide) does not fit as expected, contact us and we will send a prepaid return label and ship the correct size at no additional cost, subject to availability.

18. Ownership

All content on this website — including text, images, photographs, logos, graphics, product descriptions, and website design — is the exclusive property of Buena Vision Optometry or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws.
